One thing to know: this is not instant hot chocolate. Because we use no emulsifiers at all, the chunks need whisking or frothing into the liquid for 15 to 30 seconds, not stirring with a spoon. A milk frother does it beautifully.

We have taken our beloved Signature Seventy, the original Mr Popple’s recipe that started it all, and reimagined it for your mug. These cacao drink chunks are made from exactly the same recipe, using the same finest organic ingredients: unroasted Peruvian Criollo cacao, low-GI prebiotic yacon syrup, smooth cacao butter, and Peru’s creamy lucuma fruit powder.
Add a generous 20g to 30g of chunks to hot water or your favourite plant milk (oat, rice or coconut all work beautifully), then whisk or froth them in as they melt, for 15 to 30 seconds, until smooth and glossy. This is the part that matters: with no emulsifier in our chocolate, a milk frother or hot chocolate machine is essential, and a spoon simply will not do it. Get that right and prepare to be transported. This is not just hot chocolate. It is a raw cacao experience, built on the very cacao that ancient civilisations cherished for thousands of years, and many people, us included, find a cup leaves them gently energised, lighter in heart and mind, and a little more present.
With yacon syrup’s ultra-low GI of just 1, you get the sweetness you crave while staying gentle on your blood sugar, which makes Sippable Seventy a wonderful daily choice for anyone watching their sugar or simply living a healthier life. And because our cacao is unroasted, it holds on to far more of its antioxidants and polyphenols than standard roasted chocolate.
