WHAT MAKES OUR 70% DARK CHOCOLATE DIFFERENT
Most 70% bars are roughly two-thirds cacao and one-third sugar, and the cacao is usually roasted hard to bully some consistency into a cheap bean. We do almost the opposite. Our 70% dark chocolate starts with rare Peruvian Criollo, the variety some call the prince of cacaos, kept raw below 42°C and stone-ground slowly over 60 to 80 hours rather than roasted. The bitterness gives way to fruit and warmth, and far more of the bean's natural goodness survives into the bar.
A FLAVOUR WORTH SLOWING DOWN FOR
Bite into our Signature Seventy and it arrives in stages: first a bright, fruity acidity from the unroasted cacao, then deeper notes of red berries and citrus, with lucuma quietly smoothing the edges, and finally a long, earthy finish with a hint of floral. It rewards a little patience, melting on the tongue rather than being bolted in a hurry. Prefer a citrus twist? Our Euphoric Orange takes the same raw 70% base and lifts it with organic orange oil, bright and smile-inducing without a scrap of artificial flavouring.

Because there is more cacao and less sugar in every bite, our 70% dark chocolate brings more of the good stuff along: flavanols, fibre, magnesium, iron and gently energising theobromine. We sweeten only with naturally low-GI yacon syrup, so the sweetness is largely prebiotic fibre your body barely registers as sugar, which is why our bars suit low-GI, keto and diabetic ways of eating. Every bar is vegan, dairy-free, palm-oil free and free from the top 14 allergens.

Is 70% dark chocolate bitter?
Not ours. Cheap 70% can taste harsh because of poor beans roasted hard, but our raw Peruvian Criollo is naturally complex and fruity, with the yacon and lucuma rounding it off. It is rich and balanced rather than punishingly bitter.
Is your 70% dark chocolate sugar free?
It contains no refined sugar and no artificial sweeteners. Instead we use yacon syrup, a natural low-GI sweetener, with a little lucuma fruit, so it is far gentler on your blood sugar than standard chocolate while still tasting like a treat.
What is in your 70% dark chocolate bars?
