Take our sweet, creamy Creamy Mylk bar, add a fresh hit of real peppermint, and you’ve got Minty Mylk, our dairy-free, vegan answer to a mint chocolate bar. At 43% cacao it’s smooth and mellow, with a cool, refreshing minty lift. Chocolatey, fresh and creamy, with no dairy at all.

How we make it creamy, without any dairy

There’s no dairy here, and no nut milk either. The creaminess comes from our blend of rice and oat mylks, which give a smooth, mellow body, plus a little lucuma, the creamy Peruvian fruit with soft notes of caramel and maple. A splash of organic peppermint oil (0.5%) brings the fresh, cooling mint, carefully balanced so it’s refreshing rather than overpowering.

Still built on raw, unroasted cacao

Even our sweet, creamy bars start with raw Peruvian Criollo cacao we never roast, stone-ground below 42°C to keep both the delicate flavour and the natural compounds high heat flattens. When the Oxford Brookes Centre for Nutrition and Health tested five UK dark chocolate brands, ours came out top for polyphenols and antioxidant capacity. We didn’t add anything special to win that, we simply didn’t roast the good bits out.

Sweetened with coconut blossom sugar

Rather than refined cane sugar, we use unrefined coconut blossom sugar, tapped from the flower of the coconut palm, for a gentle, golden, caramel-like sweetness that pairs beautifully with the cool mint. There’s no cane sugar and no palm oil anywhere in it (and no, it doesn’t taste of coconut).

What does it taste like? Sweet, creamy 43% milk-style chocolate with a fresh, cool hit of peppermint. Refreshing and indulgent, the combo that’s just mint to be.

Is the mint strong or subtle? Nicely minty, but balanced, a refreshing lift rather than an overpowering blast. Real peppermint oil, not artificial flavouring.

What makes it creamy if there’s no dairy? A blend of rice and oat mylks and a little lucuma fruit. Together they give a smooth, truffle-like melt without any dairy or nut milk.

Does it taste of coconut? No. We sweeten with coconut blossom sugar for its golden, caramel-like flavour, but it doesn’t make the bar taste of coconut.

Is it gluten-free? Yes. Our rice and oat mylks are made with certified gluten-free oat and rice flour, so the bar is suitable for a gluten-free diet.

Is it vegan and dairy-free? Yes to both. It’s entirely plant-based, with no dairy and no animal-derived ingredients.

Is it suitable for children? It’s one of our sweetest, mildest bars, so it’s a real family favourite.

Is it nut-free? It’s made in a strictly nut-free facility, and every ingredient comes from suppliers who don’t handle or sell nuts. I’m watching my sugar, what do you recommend? This bar is sweetened with coconut blossom sugar and isn’t low in sugar. If you’d prefer a lower-sugar option, take a look at our yacon-sweetened dark bars, or our unsweetened 100% cacao bar.

How should I store it, and how long does it keep? Keep it somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight. It stays at its best for around 12 months. We don’t recommend refrigerating or freezing it, as that can affect the texture.

What’s the packaging made of? Plastic-free and home-compostable: a Natureflex inner film made from wood pulp, and an FSC-certified card outer printed with vegetable inks.

Is the cacao ethically sourced? Yes. It’s grown by a cooperative in the Peruvian Amazon using sustainable agroforestry, fairly traded, and wrapped in plastic-free, fully compostable packaging.

What sizes does it come in? It’s available as a 35g or 75g bar.
