Dairy-free milk chocolate, done properly

If you miss milk chocolate but don’t do dairy, this is the bar for you. Creamy Mylk is our sweetest, smoothest creation, the dairy-free answer to a classic milk chocolate bar. At 43% cacao it’s gentle and approachable, with a soft, truffle-like melt and a golden, caramel sweetness. No dairy, no compromise.

How we make it creamy, without any milk

There’s no dairy here, and no nut milk either. The creaminess comes from gluten-free oat flour and gluten-free rice flour, which give a smooth, mellow body, plus a little lucuma, the creamy Peruvian fruit with soft notes of caramel and maple, and a touch of vanilla to round it all off. Together they create that melt-in-the-mouth, milk-chocolate feel, entirely from plants.

Still built on raw, unroasted cacao

Even our sweetest bar starts with raw Peruvian Criollo cacao we never roast, stone-ground below 42°C to keep both the delicate flavour and the natural compounds high heat flattens. When the Oxford Brookes Centre for Nutrition and Health tested five UK dark chocolate brands, ours came out top for polyphenols and antioxidant capacity. We didn’t add anything special to win that, we simply didn’t roast the good bits out.

Sweetened with coconut blossom sugar

Rather than refined cane sugar, we use unrefined coconut blossom sugar, tapped from the flower of the coconut palm, for a gentle, golden, caramel-like sweetness that makes this bar so moreish. There’s no cane sugar and no palm oil anywhere in it.

As a small-batch maker we don’t carry out end-product testing, so we stop short of a 100% legal guarantee, but nuts are never present anywhere in this product’s supply chain or our facility. Is this like milk chocolate? Yes, it’s our dairy-free take on classic milk chocolate: sweet, smooth and creamy, at a gentle 43% cacao. If you love milk chocolate but avoid dairy, this is the one.

What makes it creamy if there’s no milk? Gluten-free oat flour, gluten-free rice flour and a little lucuma fruit, plus vanilla. Together they give a smooth, truffle-like melt without any dairy or nut milk.

What does it taste like? Soft, sweet and mellow, with a golden, caramel-like sweetness from coconut blossom sugar, a creamy melt and a gentle hint of vanilla. Our most approachable bar.

Is it suitable for children? It’s our sweetest, mildest bar, so it tends to be the family favourite, though like all our bars it’s still made with real cacao.

Is it gluten-free, even with oat flour? Yes. We use certified gluten-free oat flour and gluten-free rice flour, so the bar is suitable for a gluten-free diet.

Is it vegan and dairy-free? Yes to both. It’s entirely plant-based, with no dairy and no animal-derived ingredients.

Is it nut-free? It’s made in a strictly nut-free facility, and every ingredient comes from suppliers who don’t handle or sell nuts. As a small-batch maker we don’t carry out end-product testing, so we stop short of an absolute legal guarantee, but nuts are never present in this product or our facility. How should I store it, and how long does it keep? Keep it somewhere cool and dry, out of direct sunlight. It stays at its best for around 12 months. We don’t recommend refrigerating or freezing it, as that can affect the texture.

What’s the packaging made of? Plastic-free and home-compostable: a Natureflex inner film made from wood pulp, and an FSC-certified card outer printed with vegetable inks.

Is the cacao ethically sourced? Yes. It’s grown by a cooperative in the Peruvian Amazon using sustainable agroforestry, fairly traded, and wrapped in plastic-free, fully compostable packaging.

What sizes does it come in? It’s available as a 35g or 75g bar.
