Blood Orange Bliss – Vegan Chocolate Oat Energizer recipe
With spring seemingly in the air this week, bringing gentle warmth and welcome sunshine after the long winter months, I’m excited to share a wonderfully vibrant breakfast creation from one of our chocolate-loving community.
This clever recipe transforms simple ingredients into a nutrient-packed morning treat, featuring our sugar-free Euphoric Orange chocolate bar as the perfect finishing touch.

The Perfect Morning Match-Up
What makes this recipe truly special is how it combines nutritious ingredients with just the right amount of chocolate decadence:
Wholesome oats provide sustained energy and fibre
Medjool dates offer natural sweetness and minerals
Matcha powder adds antioxidants and gentle energy
Vanilla protein boosts the nutritional profile
Plant-based soya yoghurt creates perfect creaminess
Blood orange adds a vibrant citrus punch
Our melted Euphoric Orange raw chocolate brings everything together
The genius of this combination lies in how our organic raw chocolate (chocolate made from raw cacao) enhances rather than overwhelms the other flavours. The real orange oil in our chocolate perfectly complements the fresh blood orange, while the raw cacao adds depth and richness.
Method:
- Mix the rolled oats with chopped Medjool dates in a large bowl
- Add matcha powder and vanilla protein powder, stirring to combine
- Fold in soya yoghurt until everything is well coated
- Drizzle with melted Euphoric Orange chocolate
- Top with fresh blood orange segments
- Add the granola (recipe below)
The Simplest Low Temperature Orange Chocolate Granola
Looking for a breakfast that perfectly balances nutrition with indulgence? This simple low-temperature granola recipe featuring our Euphoric Orange sugar-free chocolate bar creates a delightfully crunchy, chocolatey breakfast treat while maintaining all the raw goodness of its ingredients.
Ingredients:
2 cups organic rolled oats
1 Euphoric Orange chocolate bar
Method:
- Spread the oats evenly on a dehydrator tray lined with non-stick sheet
- Dehydrate at 42°C (107°F) for 8-12 hours until crispy
- Once cooled, gently melt your Euphoric Orange chocolate bar using a water bath method, keeping temperature below 42°C
- Drizzle the melted chocolate over the granola
- Allow to set at room temperature
- Store in an airtight container
Why Raw Matters
By keeping temperatures below 42°C, this recipe preserves the beneficial compounds in our raw chocolate, maintaining its high levels of antioxidants and mood-boosting properties. Plus, with our sugar-free chocolate sweetened with yacon syrup, you can enjoy this breakfast without worrying about blood sugar spikes.

A Breakfast That Does Good
Like all recipes featuring our chocolate, this granola creation aligns perfectly with our commitment to ethical and sustainable practices. Our vegan chocolate bars are crafted using fairly traded cacao from our partner farmers in Peru, ensuring every bite supports both people and planet.
